Bench in cement, metal and mosaic, year 2008

My first contact with the application of laser cutting machine tecnology for the construction of the ojects, was the desig of a bench of 50 meters for a pubblic space in Sassuolo, Modena, Italy in 2008. The bench with sinuous shape was difficult to using traditional technologies, we have therefore modeled the bench with a 3D modeller and then taking a cue from the nalval lofting technique, from the 3d surface we have created many profiles that were later used as concrete formwork for the bench bloks. The last step was to check if the accuracy of the 3D model coincided with the realization. Co-designer Alessandra Silvestro

After a course in laser cutting machine  in 2018, I started a new experience in the field of design, especially in the production of object trough 3D computer graphic, I find that the ideation process, the design and production it's an innovative factor for the easy of production prototypes. I am therefore try this process and then  moving towards a season production objects. This show here is a part of my short experience.

1st  exercise: Copy to study a design suspension lamp, Titania. designers A. Meda, P. Rizzato, manufacture Luceplan

2nd exercise: organic fruit bowl, a sculpture approach to the object
